Service Description

This assessment measures general intelligence (i.e., IQ) for adults and adolescents (16+). The assessment is a formal evaluation, conducted by a trained and qualified mental health practitioner, employing instruments that empirical research has shown to be reliable and valid. It is far more comprehensive and informative than a brief internet test that claims to measure intelligence and generate an IQ score. What Is General Intelligence (G Factor)? General intelligence is a construct consisting of various cognitive abilities. These cognitive abilities enable people to acquire varying levels of knowledge and solve simple to complex problems. General Intelligence relates to specific mental capacities including a variety of spatial, numerical, mechanical, and verbal skills. What Can I Expect from This Process? Our first session would include two components: 1) a clinical interview lasting 60 to 90 minutes and 2) completion of the intelligence assessment. During the interview, I would ask you to describe any relevant mental or physical symptoms, child development milestones, as well as relevant aspects of your present life. You would then complete the assessment, a process which would take about two to three hours. Finally, we would schedule a one-hour follow-up session which would take place a week or two after the first session. During this subsequent session, we would review the results of the assessment and discuss ways in which you might use your knowledge of the results to understand your cognitive strengths and related opportunities.

Cancellation Policy

Dear Valued Clients, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Unfortunately, ENDEAVOR must put the below cancelation policy in place. Please know that a late cancellation would prevent us from helping others in need. For Individual Psychotherapy: Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session to avoid a late cancelation fee. Late cancelations (less than 48 hours from scheduled session) would result in a $50.00 late cancelation fee that will be charged to your credit/debit card on file. If “no-showing,” defined as not showing up for client scheduled appointment, the client will be charged the full $100.00 session fee to your credit/debit card on file. For Life Coaching: Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session to avoid a late cancelation fee. Late cancelations (less than 48 hours from scheduled session) would result in a $40.00 late cancelation fee that will be charged to your credit/debit card on file. If “no-showing,” defined as not showing up for client scheduled appointment, the client will be charged the full $80.00 session fee to your credit/debit card on file. For Couples Counseling or Professional Coaching: Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session to avoid a late cancelation fee. Late cancelations (less than 48 hours from scheduled session) would result in a $75.00 late cancelation fee that will be charged to your credit/debit card on file. If “no-showing,” defined as not showing up for client scheduled appointment, the client will be charged the full $150.00 session fee to your credit/debit card on file. For Walk & Talk Psychotherapy: Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session to avoid a late cancelation fee. Late cancelations (less than 48 hours from scheduled session) would result in a $100.00 late cancelation fee that will be charged to your credit/debit card on file. If “no-showing,” defined as not showing up for client scheduled appointment, the client will be charged the full $200.00 session fee to your credit/debit card on file. For Assessments: Please contact us at least 96 hours (4 days) in advance of your scheduled session to avoid a late cancelation fee. Late cancelations (less than 96 hours from scheduled session) would result in 50% of the assessment cost as a late cancelation fee that will be charged to your credit/debit card on file. If “no-showing,” defined as not showing up for client scheduled assessment appointment, the client will be charged the full assessment fee to your credit/debit card on file. For Example: Anxiety Assessment - Adult cost: $549.00. 50% of $549.00 = $274.50. Late cancelation fee = $274.50. At ENDEAVOR’s discretion, a late cancelation fee may be waived in cases of significant emergency (e.g., hospitalization, death in family).
