Psychological healing, growth, and development do not follow strict timetables. Treating a mental illness is not like treating a broken bone by setting the bone and putting the limb in a cast for eight weeks.  Insurance companies are businesses that seek to maximize profits; it would be virtually impossible for an insurance company to determine, at the outset of treatment, exactly how long it would take for someone to heal, grow, and reach an ideal level of well-being.  Whether or not you choose ENDEAVOR, you and your therapist should jointly determine the duration of your therapy, not your insurance company.  Your well-being is more important than your insurance company’s profits.  If you plan to submit a claim, please note the following.

Considerations Concerning the Use of Insurance to Pay for Services:

  • Insurance companies and policies differ significantly, so if you submit a claim, please follow your insurance company’s procedures carefully.

  • ENDEAVOR’s fees for service may apply to your annual deductible.

  • Your insurance company will require a diagnosis that may become part of your permanent medical record/history. There are both risks and benefits to the inclusion of a diagnosis on your medical record.

  • Your insurance company may deny treatment based on your diagnosis.

  • Your insurance company may limit the number of sessions it covers.

  • Your insurance company may request records that ENDEAVOR generates from your sessions.

  • Your insurance company may not reimburse 100% of your session fee.  It may reimburse 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, etc.  Much depends on the nature and features of your particular insurance policy.

If you have any questions about the information provided on this page and/or about financial aspects of treatment, please let us know.  We care about your well-being and want you to make treatment choices that are as informed as possible.
